We have an opening on our Portland, Greater Oregon, and Washington areas Donor Recruitment team for an Outside Sales Representative in Donor Recruitment who is responsible for working with blood drive coordinators and donor groups to achieve blood collection targets for area blood drives. The main collections area will primarily be the greater Portland Metro area but could include travel and overnight support of the entire state of Oregon and Washington. Ideally, we are looking for someone that resides in the greater Portland Area mainly the tri-counties of Washington, Multnomah, and Clackamas counties.

Job Responsibilities :
Assist account managers in ensuring blood drives achieve goals through drive management activities.
Provides additional oversight and record keeping to ensure blood drives are properly managed.
Provide sufficient organizational and operational support to blood drive coordinators to ensure achievement of collection operation and annual goals.
May be asked to schedule and implement education programs for Sponsor contact, recruitment committees, line volunteers, and volunteer tele recruiters within assigned groups to assist in meeting collection objectives and to comply with all ARCBS directives, Code of Federal Regulations, local operating procedures, and other related regulatory requirements.
As needed may be asked to help cover vacant territories, some travel may be required.
Maintain accurate records to provide tracking and statistical data on Sponsor group performance.
Appropriately utilize tools, technology, and strategy provided by the organization to enhance customer service, efficiency, and productivity.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, or communications OR equivalent combination of related education and experience.
One year (minimum) related experience.
Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively implement programs.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including training and presentation skills.
A current, valid driver's license and good driving record.
